POSITION: COMPANY SECRETARY
Location: Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities:
- Board Liaison: Manage and coordinate meetings with the Chairman, Board of Directors (BOD), and CEO.
- Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with laws governing FESCO’s operations, particularly the Companies Act, 2017.
- Records & Compliance: Maintain statutory records and ensure timely filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
- Legal & Audit Coordination: Work with internal/external auditors and legal advisors for compliance.
- Orientation & Training: Organize courses for the BOD to stay updated on corporate trends.
- Statutory Liaison: Ensure the company adheres to State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) regulations, including the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Membership in a recognized body of Professional Accountants, Corporate or Chartered Secretaries, OR
- A Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Law from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in total, with at least 5 years as a Company Secretary in a government sector organization.
- Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, exceptional communication skills, proficiency in English, and minute writing.
