Job Opportunity: Senior Manager – SBP Reporting at National Bank of Pakistan (Karachi)
Position: Senior Manager – SBP Reporting
Reporting To: Divisional Head – SBP Reporting & General Accounting
Location: Karachi
Employment Type: Contractual (3 years, renewable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage statutory returns including RCOA, DTL reporting, maturity statements, commodity operations, and low-cost housing bifurcations as per SBP regulations.
- Supervise and review submission of over 30 statutory returns to SBP and address any queries raised.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and provide support for Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and leverage ratio reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare government profit and loss accounts quarterly.
- Prepare presentations for management committees and BOD regarding regulatory matters.
- Provide advanced analytical insights to business teams and senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), or CA/ICMA qualified.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial institutions/audit firms, with 5 years in SBP reporting.
- Strong data mining, analytical skills, and ability to manage large volumes of data.
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk, EAD, PDS, LGD, and ECL calculation methodology.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and excellent communication skills.
