Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly professional and enthusiastic Project Director to spearhead the transformation projects within the Oil & Gas sector. The incumbent will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the REUP, from FEED through EPC and commissioning, ensuring successful project execution within the defined budget, timeline, and quality targets. The role will involve leadership in strategy development, risk management, and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of REUP within budgetary constraints and timeframes.
- Oversee all stages of the project, from FEED through EPC to commissioning, ensuring smooth execution.
- Develop project objectives, policies, strategies, and execution plans, including risk management and contracting strategy.
- Ensure project CAPEX is accurately estimated and budgeted based on robust financial principles.
- Collaborate with management to secure project funding.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with government agencies for licenses and approvals.
- Identify expansion possibilities within allied businesses.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical) with a Project Management qualification/certification.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in senior project management roles.
- Proven track record in leading complex, multi-million-dollar projects in refinery, petrochemicals, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design & construction, project management, and strategic/operational planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and change management skills.
