Position Details

Junior Clerk (BS-11)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must possess a Higher Secondary School Certificate (2nd Division) from a recognized board.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum 25 words per minute in English on a computer.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office or any compatible office application and demonstrate practical skills.
  • Gender: Male, Female & Transgender candidates are eligible.
  • Domicile: Punjab Province only.
  • Posting Location: Lahore (Board of Revenue Headquarters).

Age Limit:

  • Male: 18 to 30 years (including 5-year relaxation).
  • Female: 18 to 33 years (including 8-year relaxation).
  • Transgender: As per CNIC record.

Written Test & Examination Syllabus

The selection will include a one-paper MCQ-based written test of 100 marks with a 90-minute duration, divided as follows:

i) General Ability (Approx. 80%)
Includes questions on:

  • General Knowledge
  • Pakistan Studies
  • Current Affairs
  • Islamic Studies / General Knowledge (for Non-Muslims)
  • Geography
  • Basic Mathematics
  • English
  • Urdu
  • Everyday Science

ii) Computer Skills (Approx. 20%)

👉 Note: Only those candidates who qualify the General Ability Test will be called for Typing & Proficiency Tests.

Special Departmental Quota

  • The posts of Junior Clerk (BS-11), Patwari (BS-09), and employees in Grade 1–11 including Driver, Beldar, Naib Qasid, Mali, Frash, Water Carrier, and Chowkidar shall be reserved for children of serving or retired Government servants of the Board of Revenue.
  • If no eligible candidate is available under the quota, the post will be filled through open merit.
