Finance Department

The Government of Sindh invites applications from eligible candidates with the domicile of Sindh (PRC) under the Contract Market-based Employment Package for the following positions:

1. Investment Analyst (1 Position)

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or ACMA preferred.
  • Experience in investment strategy formulation, portfolio management, and risk management.
  • PhD in the relevant field will be an additional advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing stock markets and investment opportunities.
  • Managing and reviewing investment portfolios aligned with Government of Sindh’s objectives.
  • Advising on risk management strategies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and providing investment recommendations.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest market trends and investment strategies.

2. Investment Manager (2 Positions)

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields from a recognized university.
  • Professional certifications such as ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent will be preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a chartered accounting firm or investment firm.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and advising on investments to ensure portfolio performance.
  • Identifying and advising on investment opportunities to maximize returns.
  • Managing financial forecasts and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Preparing financial reports as per international standards.
  • Liaising with SECP and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

Age Limit:

  • Investment Analyst: Under 65 years of age.
  • Investment Manager: Under 45 years of age.

Contract Terms:

  • Initial contract duration: 12 months, extendable for another 12 months based on performance.
