Member (Power) – WAPDA
- Tenure: Three years (contract basis)
- Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: At least 20 years of professional experience with 5 years at a senior technical/managerial level.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of power plants.
- Manage rehabilitation and refurbishment of old hydel power plants.
- Supervise consultants and contractors during hydro power project phases.
- Coordinate with PEPCO, NTDC, NEPRA, CPPAG, and related entities.
- Handle local and foreign procurement as per PEC and PPRA guidelines.
- Ensure administrative, financial, and audit management of Hydel Power Wing.
- Work with other wings of WAPDA to achieve organizational goals.
- Any additional tasks assigned by the Chairman.
- Remuneration:
- Civil servants in BPS-21 will draw pay and allowances in MP-II Scale.
- Armed forces officers will retain their last drawn pay and allowances.
- Others will receive salary and allowances admissible under MP-II Scale.
