Job Description:
We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our Audit and Inspection team. The role requires strong audit knowledge and experience in banking, with the ability to conduct audits, assess risks, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Minimum graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/institute. Candidates with a Master’s Degree, MBA (Finance), or certifications such as ACCA/CIA will be preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of banking experience in Audit, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Operations, or Business Governance.
- Skills:
- Proficient in internal audit practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, SAP, and Core Banking Applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of branches and regional offices in line with the Internal Audit Manual.
- Engage with management to perform audits and raise audit issues.
- Prepare internal audit reports and resolve identified gaps with management.
- Validate the rectification status of regulatory findings and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Manage internal audit MIS, safeguard audit records, and implement quality assurance recommendations.
Employment Type:
- Contractual basis for three years, renewable at the discretion of the management.
- Compensation package and benefits as per bank policy.
