JOB OPPORTUNITY: PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
Punjab Family Planning Program
Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab
Position Details:
- Post Name: Procurement Specialist
- Project Pay Scale: PPS-30
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Procurement, MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain, or 16 years of education in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- Additional qualifications in Management/Project Management will be given more weightage.
- Certifications in Procurement (such as Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MOPS) from CIPS, UK, Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from ISM, USA, or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS/ASOM) are preferred.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of verifiable experience in procurement of Goods, Works, and Consulting Services, post-qualification.
- Hands-on experience in technical evaluation of bids, contract awards, and management for government and donor-funded projects.
- Knowledge and practical experience with MDBs or public procurement rules, at national/international/subnational levels, will be an added advantage.
